Some outbound links may be affiliate links, meaning we could earn a commission if you buy something after following one. This never changes the price you pay. Where a link is an affiliate link it is marked as such at the point of the link, not only on this page.

What commercial relationships do not affect

No record is added, altered, softened or removed because of an advertising or affiliate relationship. We do not rank coffees, so there is no placement to sell. If a seller asked us to change a record, we would publish the request rather than act on it.

Why say so at all

A site whose whole argument is that published figures should carry their provenance cannot be vague about its own. If you think something here reads as though it were written for a seller rather than a reader, please say so.
